I have been lucky enough to work with L&H Manufacturing and Precision Stair and Steel to create some lasting projects for my state and community.
I love to work in clay and wood and I never avoid making silly things.
This house started out as a rotting stump that I found in the forest. Now it is totally magical and ready to host a happy fairy family. It was on display at the Visitor's Center at Fort Stevenson State Park in October, and is currently available for placement. :)
This house was created during the first day of my 10-day Artist Residency at Fort Stevenson State Park in North Dakota. It started out as a hollow stump, and I added glass pieces and found objects. I like to leave a lot open spaces in my designs to invite viewers to look inside.
Birdhouse gourds are so versatile. I lead two fairy house build sessions that featured them and the participants loved them.

This session was one of two that I offered to the public at Fort Stevenson State Park in North Dakota. The event did not have a specific age range and the ability level was variable. Nature and I supplied all of the materials. I operated all of the cutting power tools. Attendees had access to hot glue guns and sanders. As you can see from the video, we had a lot of fun on both days.
I am available to build one-of-a-kind fairy houses or
host fairy house making sessions.
This was a little recycling project. I made a book out of a box. I also wrote and illustrated this piece.
